Terms of Use
Last updated October 29, 2026
In short
- PalLoop keeps score for game nights between friends. It is not a gambling service: we don't run games, take bets or take a cut.
- You must be 18 or older, and you're responsible for making sure the games you record are legal where you play.
- Balances are a record between friends, not a bill from us. Settling up is between you and them.
- Be decent. We don't tolerate abusive, hateful or sexual content, and we remove it and the people who post it.
- Your content stays yours. You give us permission to use it only to run the Service.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Superintelligent Labs ("we", "us", "our"), the maker of PalLoop. They cover your use of the PalLoop app, the website at palloop.app and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and confirm you've read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who can use PalLoop
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and able to enter into a binding agreement.
- You may not use the Service if we have previously removed you from it, or if the law where you live doesn't allow you to.
- The Service is for personal use with people you know, not for running a business.
2. Your account
Give us accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. Keep your sign-in details private, and keep your device locked. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you think someone else has used it, tell us straight away at support@palloop.app. One person, one account: don't share an account or create one for someone else without their permission.
3. What the Service does
PalLoop helps you organise games with people you know: create groups, schedule game nights, record buy-ins, rounds and results, see who owes whom, chat, share moments and settle up. We're always improving the Service, so we may add, change or remove features. Some features may be marked as early or test versions, including builds shared through Apple's TestFlight; they may not work perfectly and may change or end without notice.
4. Not a gambling service
- PalLoop records games you play with friends. We don't run games, take bets, set odds, hold or manage a pot for any game, or take a share of anything won.
- Some games you record may involve money where you live. You're responsible for making sure your games are legal where you play them, and for any taxes on them.
- Nothing in the Service is an offer or invitation to gamble, and it must not be used to run a gambling business.
5. Balances and settling up
- Balances, totals and "who owes whom" are calculated from what players enter. They are records between you and your friends. They are not a bill from us, and we don't guarantee that anyone will pay.
- Check balances before you settle up. If something looks wrong, sort it out with the people in your game; we can't decide disagreements between players.
- PalLoop doesn't handle payments. You settle up with each other outside PalLoop, in whatever way you agree. Marking a debt as paid records that the people involved say it was paid; it doesn't move money.
6. Your content
You own the messages, photos, videos and other content you post ("your content"). So that we can run the Service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, show and send your content as needed to provide the Service, including through the companies that help us and the AI features described in our Privacy Policy, for example to show your message to your group, put your moments on a game's replay page, or write a recap of your game night. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies others have already received and copies in backups, which we delete over time.
Only post content you have the right to share, and only share photos and videos of people who are happy to be in them. Remember that replay pages can be opened by anyone with the link.
7. Rules of the table
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, bully, stalk or intimidate anyone, or impersonate any person;
- post content that is hateful, sexual, violent, graphic, defamatory, illegal or otherwise objectionable, or that exploits or involves anyone under 18 in any way;
- share other people's private information, or photos of them, without their permission;
- record false games or results to mislead or cheat other people;
- use the Service to run a gambling business, collect money for anything other than settling games among people you know, or for fraud or money laundering;
- send spam, or use the Service for advertising or selling without our written permission;
- infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- use the AI features to create harmful, deceptive or unlawful content;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer, overload or disrupt the Service, get around its limits or security, upload malicious code, or access accounts or data that aren't yours;
- create accounts to get around a block, suspension or removal.
8. Reports and enforcement
You can report content or people, and block anyone, from the app. We review reports within 24 hours. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms or put others at risk, and where appropriate we may report illegal activity to the authorities. If you think we got a decision wrong, email us and we'll look at it again. We aren't obliged to monitor everything posted, and we're not responsible for content other people post.
9. AI features
Some features use AI, such as the assistant, PalLoop AI in group chats, recaps and voice commands. AI can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important it tells you, and check any action it suggests, such as a buy-in or an amount, before you confirm it. AI output isn't financial, legal or tax advice. Don't share sensitive information with it that you wouldn't want processed as our Privacy Policy describes.
10. Inviting people
If you invite someone by email or link, make sure they'd be happy to hear from you. Don't use invitations to send unwanted messages.
11. Feedback
We love hearing ideas. If you send us feedback or feature requests, we may use them to improve PalLoopwithout owing you anything.
12. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on PalLoop infringes your copyright, email support@palloop.app with: your contact details; the work you believe is infringed; where the content is in PalLoop; a statement that you believe in good faith that its use isn't authorised by you, your agent or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you're the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your signature. We'll remove content that infringes and may remove the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.
13. Other services
The Service works with other companies' services, such as Apple, Google and Spotify, and uses AI providers. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we're not responsible for their services or for websites we link to.
14. Our name and app
The PalLoop name, logo, design and software belong to Superintelligent Labs and are protected by law. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for your own game nights under these Terms. You may not copy, sell, rent, modify or build on the Service, or use our name or logo, without our written permission.
15. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account. The Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and what stays in your groups' history. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if we must for legal reasons, or if we stop offering the Service; where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first. Sections 4 to 7 and 11 to 21, and anything else that by its nature should continue, still apply afterwards.
16. No warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any balance, total, calculation or AI output will be accurate. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have by law that can't be limited.
17. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, or for money lost in, owed from or paid for any game. Our total liability for all claims about the Service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and US$50. These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
18. Your responsibility to us
To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, including legal fees, if a claim is brought against us because of your content, the games you record, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your breaking the law or someone else's rights.
19. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a problem, please email us first and give us 30 days to try to sort it out. If we can't, any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Cabarrus County, North Carolina, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring a claim in small-claims court where it qualifies. If you're a consumer living outside the United States, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in its courts.
20. If you got PalLoop from the App Store
- These Terms are between you and Superintelligent Labs, not Apple. Superintelligent Labs, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content.
- Your licence to use the app is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control, as the App Store's Usage Rules allow.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the fullest extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- Superintelligent Labs, not Apple, is responsible for any claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection or privacy claims, and claims that it or your use of it infringes someone's intellectual property.
- You confirm that you're not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you're not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, such as your mobile carrier's.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. If Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement conflicts with these Terms, these Terms apply to the extent allowed.
21. General
- These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a part of these Terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, sale or reorganisation, and these Terms will continue to apply.
- We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control.
- You agree that we may send you notices electronically, in the app or by email, and that these count as being in writing.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you don't agree, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.
